Napier Turbochargers

Finning UK and Ireland (Finning), is now an authorised service and repair agent for Napier Turbochargers (Napier) in the UK and Ireland.

The service and distribution agreement applies to any MaK or Cat® engine installation using a Napier turbocharger and will see Finning’s engineers providing a comprehensive range of maintenance and support services to Napier customers in the UK.

“Napier Turbochargers is a world leader in the design and manufacture of industrial turbochargers, with a significant number of units installed on MaK and Cat marine engines here in the UK and Ireland."

“This new agreement will further our strategic objectives of providing professional, after sales service to customers, thereby reducing overall engine ownership costs through increased efficiency and performance. We will therefore be offering a wide range of support options on the full Napier product portfolio, including emergency repair, preventative maintenance and complete inspection and overhaul services, supported by the rapid supply of genuine spare parts."

“We can now offer our customers an enhanced range of services and can schedule routine maintenance on both engine and turbocharger installations at the same time; helping to reduce downtime. "

“We will also be able to offer customers a replacement turbocharger unit during major overhaul or repair to ensure vessel operations remain unaffected.”
